This was a pilot program to develop critical thinking skills in Language Arts classes. ELF funded this pilot program which allowed students to read thought provoking text: from classic works of literature and philosophy to history. Students discussed the literature and their interpretations with inquiry-based discussions. Students participated in whole class discussions by listening carefully, speaking clearly, acknowledging and validating others’ opinions.
