Photography 101

Amount of Grant: $91 in 2008
Students worked in cooperative groups to photograph activities at SSES. They learned basic photographic and composition elements. They were taught newspaper writing as a genre by writing articles for their own SSES Daily newspaper. Technology was used to create the paper. All objectives are aligned with state standards in visual and language arts. Students went on a field trip to the Yale art gallery to view an extensive photography display. Students’ photos and writing are duplicated for their personal portfolios as well.
