The science department at JBHS purchased a mobile cart of twenty iPads in 2010 for student use. At that time, the iPads (v1) did not support projection, making it difficult for teachers to effectively lead simulations and take full advantage of the devices in the classroom. This grant supplied teachers with three iPad 2s which both support projection and allow instructors to explore new applications for use without having to sign out the enitre cart.
